Inspired by a conversation in another thread, with title from a terrible song...

Under the Manhattan Bridge, Brooklyn.

The reflection shows more of the city buildings than are seen above and I will need to keep looking to work that out. A beautiful exposure, and perfect time to have taken it, when the lights in the buildings are not yet dominant. A truly great shot.

This is just heading under the bridge....

A truly stunning shot! You could not have captured more beautiful light.

And, by the way, "Under the Bridge" is a wonderful song... ;-(

I think the first picture is reversed and needs to be turned clockwise 180 degrees. Looking west at Manhattan from Brooklyn, the Brooklyn Bridge should be south of, or to the left of, the Manhattan Bridge. This would also explain the oddity of more stuff seen in the reflection than in the "real" view.

Yes... you can also see the pavement 'intrude' into the "real" view, but that's difficult in a small jpeg.

Thanks Richard!
