Hello all
I'm getting some increased density on the very edges of my negs (longest sides only). The extra density does not encroach into the film rebate. It is uniform in as far as it presents itself as a small darker sliver that obviously prints lighter. I'm wondering whether this is due to uneven development or some type of relection from the (35mm) film rails, ...or...
I'm using a tank that works on continuous agitation.
Will try to post a print once dried.
Any clues, suggestions much appreciated.

I had a camera that did this. It was a 6x6 TLR, it was from a light leak that accrued where the back was fastened to the body. Your camera is 35mm, but we don't know which camera it is. It would be best to post a good scan for the negative.
Also, maybe someone that knows more about continuous agitation will jump in.

The camera is a Nikkormat ftn. I don't have access to a scanner. A phone shot should show up the problem relatively well.
Thank you

It's only a guess if we can't see the negs.

Real Men Shoot Film.
I've gotten that effect with too little agitation, but you're using continuous agitation.

I've never had much luck posting images here. I copy and paste the url from Flickr and get 'invalid file' when trying to upload here, even though the url is correct.

These 2 links should work. One of the neg and one of the print.
If someone would be so kind enough to tell me where i'm going wrong re posting images here, it would be very much appreciated!

That's very well-defined, no way that's from development. Looks like it could be a reflection off the sharp ridge of the film gate? Check to see if that's uniformly flat black.
I'd consider it a feature, not a fault. It might make a very distinct look after all
