I got a great deal for a 21mm Kobalux lens on Boxing Day (Dec. 26) last year. I don't remember the details any more but there were about 3 of us bidding, the other 2 were not particularly active. So it is possible to do well around Christmas sometimes. Maybe for the less popular things...

So how did y'all do this year?
I picked up a Ricoh Diacord parts body (with the parts I need) for 99 cents plus shipping. I also got a good Canon FX body with a bad lens to go with the good 50/1.8 FL lens I already have for under $20.
I have also observed over the years that between Thanksgiving and Christmas the number of bidders as well as prices go upwards. Gift shoppers I suppose.

I looked but nothing interested me. I had actually went and checked all my standard sorts looking for opportunities ahead of time, but no must haves or good buys for me.

Yeah me neither. I pushed my auctions out till this weekend to avoid anyone NOT being able to bid on my stuff.
I hung around the RF's and did my usual searches. Most of it came up with nothing....
