Update on The Rangefinder Book

I have a book getting printed tomorrow. Just text, but will be curious to see what this ends up like. It was sImple enough to do. Trade paperback binding.

I'll get a picture of the machine when I drop by to pick it up.

Sepiaverb how did it go?

Since my fixed lens rangefinders are not getting any newer nor do my eyes, I've decided to buy a used copy of Rangefinders from nine other than Abebooks!

Hi Roger!

PDF is a poor ebook format. Can you please produce an EPUB edition instead/as well as?

As nice as printed books are, my own collection has been mainly replaced by DRM free ebooks now to reduce the clutter/things in my home.

Looking forward, but with a request:
Please push Voightlander less, and please pay reasonable respect to LTM Canon cameras, which you all but ignore while describing cameras much less likely to be encountered. Having shot with my four Leica RF's, and my two Canon LTM RF's, I and many others can tell you that the Canons are a hell of a value and deserve more attention.

Don't get me wrong..I am a buyer of your book and appreciate what you do for the hobby. Keep it up!

I am certainly interested if you decide to publish something. I have the first edition but would love to pick up the 2nd. Prefer paper but also use pdf or kindle.

I am interested as well. Roger does have some ebooks for sale on his website but the updated rangefinder book is not there.

Sir,

I have found that "Libre Office" does incorporate my pictures in the text.

I presume that most other wordprocessing programs do the same. I have not needed to make PDF formatted files, but would assume that any profit-motivated netsite would make strenuous efforts to convert your files to an income-providing format if it cannot easily be done from an ODF or Word-file.

The subscriber model would seem to cover any worries that a publishing intermediary would have.

I for my part would welcome an updated version.
