Just updated the Zeiss Ikon lens page at http://www.cameraquest.com/ZM lenses.htm
So far two users have commented they believe their ZM 50/2 and 25/2.8 are better than the current version Leica Lenses. The original Zeiss brochure at Photokina makes it is clear that is what Zeiss is aiming for.
To me the black finish ZM lenses have a better outer finish than current Leica M lenses. I do like the easier to see Leica Red dot better than the Zeiss blue dot. the Zeiss 1/3 stop click stops are a very nice feature, as well as each lens having a bayonet vented hood. While the Cosina made 21,25,28,35, and 50 ZM lenses offer real bargains compared to Leica, the expensive German made 15 and 85 do not, creating a bit of an imbalance in the lineup. To me this suggests the likelyhood of more Cosina made lenses eventually filling out the lens lineup.
