UPS arrived.. all this came outta one box

it was even better than Christmas! these days, Christmas gifts revolve around the real kids.. not us grown up kids.. but here I was, unwrapping over 30 packages, seriously not knowing what most of them would be.. it was quite fun

shipping was only $20.. the seller underestimated the amount and quoted a flat rate.. it turned out to be $28.50, which still wasn't too bad for him

fortunately, or unfortunately depending on how you look at it, I don't have a wife to monitor my GAS attacks.. my friends and relatives just roll their eyes when I explain the most recent purchase.. but since I've re-sparked their photographic interest, they're usually pretty curious about my toys

as for satisfying my GAS.. I wish it had.. but I'm still watching auctions for a Rolleiflex and a Contax/Sonnar combo.. that, and seriously considering buying an M3 this weekend

I think I should pick up a cheaper habit.. like crack, maybe.. but seriously.. all that stuff cost me $128 including shipping

Good for me as well. Brett visited me yesterday and we had a very nice conversation, showed off our favorite cameras and then did a little bit of trading. He got a good Jupiter-11 for his Kievs and I giving a new homw to a nice Argus C-3 brick and one of the Kodak Tourists.

yep, William is a great guy, and very knowledgeable.. and I'm planning to spend a little quality time with that Jupiter-11 in the next day or two 🙂

Frank, I've been so busy lately (and out of town for the past 3 days), so I haven't had much time to look them all over. Plus, most of them need batteries that I don't have, so I can't do much with them so far. But it's the Canonets and the FED that have been picked up the most. The GSN is very nice, but it's no different from one I already have, so no novelty factor there.

The Canon WS-1 (waterproof camera) actually came with a working battery, so I popped a roll of film in that, with the hopes that I'd take it fly fishing this weekend. But the 92 degree weather put the kabosh on that. So I spent Saturday walking around an art fair with my Kiev.

I have enough trouble feeding all my cameras as it is, and I could easily use the odd Canonet/FED etc. You've got some mighty good bargains.
