used Leica MP pricing?

Similarly did not warm up to the MP, despite a lot of positive reviews about it. Seemed "colder and harder" than vintage M's. To each their own tastes perhaps. Took advantage of the good resale value and sold mine off recently. Got back pretty much what I paid for it over a year ago (pre owned).

Could you elaborate on what aspects of the MP you didn't like? Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my M6 and will not be selling it regardless of what future bodies I may own. Mine is a 1986 model and the zinc/black paint is bubbling on the entire lower tier of the top plate. Drives me crazy. I envision myself getting an MP and keeping the M6 to my son someday. He is 1 now.

The camera looked like it was well taken care of. I'm not a fan of the idea of brassing a camera on purpose, but the way the previous owner did it didn't look too bad. And at 2k, it was a steal.

Forum classifieds and your local dealer. It does mean work. The classifieds here and on photo.net are a start. I bought one of my MPs from eBay and the other from a local dealer.
