Has the used X100 price been going up lately? I stupidly sold an excellent used X100 and now wanting to buy another one. But it seems that good condition without SAB is hovering around $600+ without any extras.

I don't know if i've seen any below that price, ever, around here, but I can confirm (via craigslist) that they're going for the $600+ range at the moment. Personally, I don't see myself ever getting rid of mine. It's my favorite digital camera.

I picked mine up for $450 including a Luigi case, hood, filter, extra battery, and GGS screen protector (which was cracked and subsequently replaced) but I was pretty patient stalking craigslist.
I've since seen them hovering around the 550-700 range on craigslist. I'd suggest adhuntr or searchtempest to run craigslist searches as you can search more than one geographic area.

Yes, I wanted to buy one over 7 months ago when the prices where a little over €300 in Germany. Now it's more like €400-450ish

Yeah, same in the Netherlands. They were like 350€ or something, now they seem to be around 450€.
Oh well. Let's hope a successor to the X100s comes out soon.
EDIT: Apparently the X100T is in the pipeline, but it took around 2 years for the X100s to come and that camera is only a year old.

What's the reason for this - X100S isn't better replacement for X100 so older model got more demand, thus price?

Shaken, so blurred
My understanding (based entirely on internet chatter and most certainly not on personal experience) is that some like photos from the non-X-Trans sensor of the original more than from it's X-Trans sensor successor. Others say that more recent versions of RAW converters have much better de-mosaicing algorithms, which cope well with X-Trans and so the point, they maintain, is now moot. Me? I don't have a dog in the fight. What's the reason for this - X100S isn't better replacement for X100 so older model got more demand, thus price?

Ah, sensor has changed.
btw K-01 suddenly jumped in price, too. I considered it but if they exceed eur200 probably will skip and at some point grab DSLR with pentaprism.

There's a silver X100 for sale here for $425 … in Phnom Penh. From where shipping is an extortionate dice roll.

When firmwares updates brought the X100 AF up to par with the X100s, I actually sold my X100s and went back to the X100. I'd imagine that the X100 firmware updates are influencing the price of the used X100.

Some X100 owners who upgraded to the X100s may prefer images from the former.
I know this is the case with the X10/X20.

Just sold mine with an easy $100 worth of nice extras for a fiver.
It still sat here for a week even at that price.
I'll get one again

I'm with Andy, only managed a 5 spot for mine with extras, but I only had to add 40$ for a Xpro in box, so I don't see myself going back.
I'm still new to digital cameras, but I really don't see a worlds difference between the old X100 and my newr Xpro, both make outstanding images.
The prices seem to be the same, asking a price and getting it are two different things.
I had to patiently wait a month or so before I in grabbed mine for 450aud, last year.

I don't mean to gloat, but I just purchased my X100 locally for $300. The previous owner has just upgraded to the X100T. Now I have a playmate for my X-E1.
The next cheapest on Craigslist was $550.

I recently sold mine for $400. Late serial #, no SAB. Check the Fuji specific forums if you're a buyer. I've seen them as low as $285 recently. A few wishful thinkers for the black model in the $500 to $700! range. But they just sit until the price starts dropping. Probably a more reliable source for a good product as well.

I really don't need a X100 as I own three other X-Series bodies and the 23/1.4 and 27/2.8 lenses. Even so, $300 for a nice example of a X100 would be difficult to resist. Two years ago when KEH was in town I them sold my silver X100 to KEH for $500.
Recently I thought about selling my X-Pro 1 and 23 and 27 mm lenses and picking up a X100T along with the wide-angle (18mm) and normal (35mm) teleconverters. I abandoned this plan once I realized I was just wasting time chasing gear instead of buckling down and using the X-Pro 1 more often. However the X100T does have superior manual and auto focusing performance and focusing options.
