Ray was a very reasonable and excellent person to deal with, an absolute gentleman. Shipping was quick, and I got my hands on a beautiful on the inside Kiev 4A. Thanks Ray.
pbjbike sent me a Olympus XA so generously. Didn't even ask for shipping to send it to me, just went ahead and mailed it to me for no charge.
I must say, RFF is truly a place filled with honest, genuine and awesome members.

I'm still catching up here:

Comments: From the moment I joined this forum and read what everyone had to say about their equipment, I wanted a Yashica GSN, but kept missing out on opportunities due to my European location. Ken, having read one of my comments, contacted me when he decided to sell his: now, how kind is that?
I still appreciate his initiative, and it goes without saying - I love my camera!
(Thanks, Ken!)

David sold me his 21/2.8 PasOptik lens (also known as Kobalux/Avenon/Bower/Adorama), in chrome, with matching chrome finder and all caps. Everything came in its original wrapping, and looks mint. I have not yet shot any test film but am positive that the lens works flawlessly.
David gave me a fantastic price for the lens (he could have easily sold it for a lot more on the auction site), and as a small "thank you" I will be sending him a few prints of photos that I'm going to make with this new lens.
Even though the customs tax charged by my country, Austria, was shockingly high (30%), I will have no qualms buying from David in the future, since I know I will be getting more than my money's worth even after taxes. Apart from the stuff I got for free, this is by and far the best deal I have ever gotten on RFF. Thanks, David!

Wow, what a glowing tribute- Hoot / Ronnie deserves thanks too for quick payment & seeing the transaction through. A win-win deal all round I feel, with a lens finding a good home, cliche though that is. Better in the hands of an RFFer than sitting in my dry cabinet. In addition to the prints I could attend ski school for free?
Pity about the extortionate customs duty- if the equipment comes from an EU member state is duty payable? There's currently no duty on phtographic equipment "imported" into Malaysia; no sales tax either, new or used.

Recently had a quite pleasant exchange with Patrick. I purchased his Nikon FE2 and 50mm 1.4 AIS lens -- stellar kit received in stated condition, which is excellent+. He did a real service, offering this set for a very reasonable price and shipping promptly with ample packaging. I sold him a pair of 46mm B+W MRC filters; he confirmed his receipt and all is right with the world.

My first purchase on the RFF went smoothly; Brian offered a slew of filters for a bargain price. Much to my pleasant surprise, I received the filters and they appear for the most part unopened/unused. Very pleased all around!

the lobster: -- got a Canonet QL G-III 19, with original leather everready case. (unfortunately it arrived days after G-man closed shop); in better condition than he led to believe.
