Jan bought a bunch of film from me, and helped me clear the fridge crisper for...vegetables. Thanks Jan!

Feedback For Kim Coxon

Kim Coxon sold me a Canon 7 in great shape for a very fair price. Mailed it when he said he would, packed it well, and I got it in perfect shape in todays mail.

Thanks Kim!

Tom

PS: Only 7 or 7s I ever saw with ZERO shutter wrinkles. None, Nada, Zip. I was impressed. :)

I too have had a good experience in a purchase from Kim Coxon.

I recently recieved a Zorki 2c (s) from him. It was exactly as described and was perfectly packed. The camera was shipped quickly from England. The US Postal service slowed the process down a bit.

Thanks Kim- The Zorki is a very portable shooter with an I-22.

Must be Kim Day

I bought a Fed2 and 2 lenses from Kim, not only was what I received better than described and packed great, he also threw in items not mentioned in deal! If you are looking for FSU gear, Kim is where to get it.

OK so I am now a bright red colour. I would far rather deal with the members here at a sensible price than make a few bucks more on that other place. It is much more pleasant to deal with understanding people wth manners.

COMMENT: Recommended - nice bloke, smooth sale of a lens (from the US to the UK). He kept me informed of progress.

The US Mail weren't quite so helpful  :

USPS: "That's a Priority box. It can't go overseas."

DWzM: "Is the box the wrong shape or size?"

DWzM: "No, it's a Priority box and you can't use it for overseas."

DWzM: "What if I take a marker and scratch out the Priority symbol?"

USPS: "It's still a Priority box and can't go overseas."

DWzM: "But it won't say Priority anymore"

USPS: "It's still a Priority box."

DWzM had to go home and repack my parcel!

I have a couple to catch up on

comment: An excellent man to deal with. I met him to buy an M3 back in December and he was very friendly. Highly recommended.

comment; I bought a Canonet off Kim and it arrived quickly (UK to US) and was exactly as described. Again, highly recommended.

comment: I bought an Iskra off Chase. When it arrived it would not stop down correctly. Chase promptly accepted a return and refunded my money. I would have no hesitation to deal with him in the future. He's definitely a stand-up guy.

Yes, I found this out, too. I actually used a priority mailing label on the last print swap (the old style without the priority mail watermark) and cut the red part at the top and the bottom part off.

The woman at the counter somehow recognized it and wouldn't take the pacakge. Weird.. I've *never* had problems like this with the usps, usually people are so kind.

From their defense, we're using their product to ship not using the designated protocol. Although a horrible sentence, hopefully it makes sense. I think they should just add an extra couple bucks if people do that, and everyone profits from it (convenience for the user and profit for the USPS).

*shrug*
