Joe, if I had left feedback here, you'd have nothing to be depressed about, and your art would suffer! :D Alright, alright, it just slipped my feeble mind...

COMMENT: Sold me an excellent CV75 for a fair price, and gave me a killer deal on a full darkroom kit. Makes a good cup of coffee, too.

I only had good experiences with all you people on RFF.

COMENT: all the best. good communication and swift deals with everyone.

The post works in mysterious ways, but all shipments - so far - have gone well. Some faster than others without any reason.

Comments: What can I say, RFF members keep surprising me again and again. Our ongoing deal for a CV 50 finder is pending due to an unexptected issue, so for the time spent Tom just sent me free of charge two FSU lenses I had expressed interest in during our really nice conversations !

What can I say apart from a huge, bold, underlined and 72 sized THANKS TOM !!!!!!!

COMMENTS: My transaction with Dan didn't originate in the classifieds, nor was it technically a sale, but it needs to be said that Dan is a true gentleman. In a thread I made inquiring about camera bags, Dan was generous enough to offer to buy one and ship it to me. He was very conscientious every step of the way, sending me scans of the sales receipts and the postal receipt and tracking number. He also used great judgment in warning me about the actual shade of my first color choice and sent pics of the bag for me to judge myself, after which he was gracious to exchange it for me. Although I suspect he may have secretly wanted me to use a bag with the Canadian flag embroidered on it here amid the Stars and Bars, I have no proof and must admit that, no, he's just a good guy. ;)

Jon Goodman

Kudos to Jon Goodman for being a great guy and an excellent seller! Jon not only offered up a gorgeously refurbished Canon QL17, but sent it prior to payment for me to test out at my leisure. It performed flawlessly. Thanks again, Jon!

Fast shipping for Canadian mail.

oh sure, now no one will believe any of this!!!

joe;)

Is it just shipping to Canada that's slow, or is it generally slow both ways? I've had two shipments from Canada recently, and in both cases the package was at my door about a week after shipment (which seemed to be consistent with the promised delivery schedule).

i'm starting to half believe that i'm on a list somewhere, of people to watch.

when i fly into new youk this summer i'll have to see if i get the strip search routine. :)

my average waiting time is about a month for most things.

I have been looking for a thread to thank all the rff members for their generosity in support of my camera repair projects. Specifically to the lobster for a beautiful zorki 1b body in need of a shutter repair, kuvvy for a fed collapsible lens which he sent in a great little pouch, kiev4a for zorki 2c parts and Laika for fed3 parts.
I had a most satisfactory transaction with sockeyed when I purchased a vintage J-12 ltm from him.

Comment: I catched his Summicron-M 2/35 asph within a few minutes after it popped up in the classifieds. Very smooth transaction, great communication. Many thanks, Mike. The lens looks simply awesome on my M2 :) Can't wait to find some time for shooting.

COMMENTS: Thomas-Michael, was a pleasure to trade with, we had a possible
Hickup with the Post, but we managed to work it through without a problem.
Very nice experience.

User: Rover
Comments: A++ seller! Rover sold me a filter for $6 including shipping to Europe, which in retrospect I think was a very kind gesture. The filter arrived immediately and was in mint condition.

User: Chaser
Comments: A++ buyer! I gave Chaser my old scanner for free, but asked him to pay for shipping. Since I didn't know exactly how much this would cost, I gave him a rough estimation first, and sent it off before receiving his payment (on my own risk). It turned out to be considerably more than my estimation, but he paid immediately without complaint. Very trustworthy buyer.

Thanks, guys! RFF is a fun place!

What can I say about Jon that hasn't already been said? I bought a light seal kit, which arrived at my house two days after payment. Jon also did his darnest to help diagnose a light leak in my Minolta A5, even offering to work on it himself.
