Sold him a Bessa side grip. He made a quick decision, paid swiftly, and kept me informed at all time. Nice guy to deal with.

Item : Minolta DImage Scan Multi Pro

item seems to be working well, the scans are significantly (night and day)
better than my Epson 3170. I bought the item through a Photo.net add,
however. Not through RFF.

Item : 46mm UV filters, K2 filter and cap.

Filters were excellent and packaged unbelievably well. Very congenial and timely communication. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.

Ii's all Keith's fault. All I wanted to do was swap my "extra" CL for something, and
he offered up a nice Nikon 35Ti. We came to a mutually beneficial arrangement, and
made the trade, and then he posted an Olympus OM3, wondering if there was any
interest.
No, not much; I was tripping over myself to grab it before anybody else did. Keith
is VERY accomodating, easy to work with, and just strikes me as a generally good,
extremely intelligent person, and a key asset to RFF.
Whether buying, selling, trading, expect a very smooth landing. Without knowing me
he treated me like a friend--I can't offer any higher praise.

Back to the Leica CL. When I listed it I mentioned items I'd be interested in trading
for. The CL was gone by the time Nick checked in with his massive accumulation
of Mamiya Auto XTL gear.
But, being weak I couldn't pass it up. We agreed on a (very reasonable) price, and
it arrived in a box I could fit myself into. He had the body, 1.4 & 1.8 50s, 28/2.8
60/2.8 macro (sweet!), 105/2.8, 135/2.8, and a rather intimidating looking 90-230
zoom.
I know, my cardinal sin here is that it isn't RF equipment, and I know that makes me
impure, but it's big, beautiful, classic, all metal gear, and we will never see its like
again.
Nick is great to communicate with, just shoot the breeze, whatever. We exchanged
several emails and I found all to be informative.
As Samuel Johson said "Money is like muck, not good lest it be spread".

Thanks for a great deal, and thanks for being a friend.

I am not lucky. Never have been. But a Contax T2 meleica had listed (and was all set to dump on Ebolay) was much coveted, but unpurchased. I checked to see if he
still actually had it, and it was just as easy as that.

This was one of those "so smooth I can't believe it" transactions--no snags, great
communication, and a happy ending. Man, can I get any sappier?

It's my impression that all who have dealt with him are similarly pleased, and I would
not hesitate to engage in business with him again--if I had any money left.

I'm the now proud owner of Jon's Olympic Special Spotmatic. A great deal and a great guy to deal with. I'd give him a perfect 10.

RFF member: xcapekey

I purchased a Canon 85/1.8 (the late model all-black version) from xcapekey, and could not be happier! The glass looks just about perfect, and seller also included a black lens hood, a Voigtlander LTM to M adapter, and a rear cap. In addition, fast shipping and excellent packaging. Great transaction, and a credit to RFF.

Bought a 28mm Canon lens from Keith. It arrived the next day in better condition than advertised. Keith even found some caps and a filter, which was very sweet. Made sure I was happy with the deal, even checked on the tracking numbers himself. Thanks Keith.

Buyers: I have never had any problem at RFF with any of the members that have bought any of my items. Pleasant communications, appreciate the equipment, no problems.

Sellers: Same Story, I have never had a problem with the Sellers or items received.

Traded a canon 35 for a summitar in Nov. Smooreath transaction, lens is nearly flawless. Great communication, and a pleasure all the way around. Sorry I took so long to say what a great guy you are.

USER: flashover

Sold my lllC to flasover, and received immediate payment. He had pictures posted within a week. I was sorry to see the cam go, but glad to see it being used in more capable hands. Very positive transaction.

I think you will find his comments on me above - as to my comments: we traded some gear and Brett was really keen to ensure I was pleased with the deal - even to replacing one of the cameras. Great guy, highly recommended.

Thanks for the trade Brett.
