It was a pleasure for me too - Ian paid extremely promptly and even added to the agreed figure for postage, which was generous.
I did want to make sure that the items were described correctly and that Ian understood the exact condition of what I was offering and had no problem in taking as long as necessary over that - there are no dumb questions.

Got a Bessa R + 2.5/35 CV Skopar for a good price, at least a third less than what I would have paid over here otherwise. Bessa is cosmetically worn as advertised, but in a good state. The lens is just like new. Great transaction, too, the seller had great patience with some indecisiveness on my side.

I'd like to go public with an issue I'm having with RFF member ampguy. Here is my response to an email I received from him today (see below)

I'm sorry the US postal service has not yet delivered the CL. It appears to be one day late. Don't you think you're over-reacting? I'm not sure a phone call would be a good idea because I'm pretty pissed at you. I sent the CL on June 12 and provided you with a tracking number. The Canadian post tracks the package to the border, unfortunately the US post does npt provide feedback until the package is delivered, when it issues a "package received" update. Tomorrow is the earliest that I can file a lost item investigation with Canada Post. It seems the postal service is not as concerned about a package that is only 1 day late. I will do this.
As far as a refund is concerned, I sold you the camera with a satisfaction guarantee and if you are not satisfied with the camera I will refund your money once the camera is returned to me in the same condtion it was sent. This is the way things work.
Your threats are totally uncalled for and unreasonable. I hope other potential sellers take note.
