I recently got a bottle of Clayton F76+. They have the times for the more standard films, but for films like Berger 400 or Rollei 80s, they do not. Even searching forums and massive dev chart, it does not show much of anything. Anyone here tried these film combos? Can I use the same times as D76, even tho from my research they are different films. Thank you.

It is the same developer as FA 1027, so there may be help there. But when in doubt, I use the times for D76 with good results. If you scroll through my Flickr photostream, you can find times and examples in FA 1027 that I have used for several films, unfortunately, neither of the two you have mentioned.

Yes Clayton makes it and it is rebranded as Arista Premium Liquid, and Photographer's formulary FA-1027--all the same stuff. Unfortunately, Lowell Huff, the chemist at Clayton Chemical who developed F76+ and was the master of all info on it, passed away a few years ago. However, if you call or email Clayton Chemical they are still very helpful and can help direct you.

Sorry to hear about Lowell passing... he was very helpful and willing to pick up the phone and talk to amateurs like me. He was kind enough to provide a lot of samples in exchange for me sending him dev times for EFKE, Fuji and AGFA films that I used in the early 2000s.
Dev times for F76 1+9 were similar to D76 and 1+19 to D76 1+1
When using the higher dilution agitate less (once every minute or every other minute) for getting lower contrast negatives
Rollei 80 is similar to AGFA AVIPHOT; I'd use the APX100 times for this one (7 min 1+9)
Berger 400 times in D76 are long (9 min) same as APX400 so I'd give it 8 min 1+9
I always got better results with F76+ than with D76, negtives looked sharper and were easier to print. While it was not comparable to Ilfotec DDX, it was also good to push HP5, Delta400 and Delta3200
That's all I have in my notes

I don't know why maybe because I had to get of the minimum order at Freestyle, I bought a bottle of it. It worked fine, easy to use, the times for development were in the park but I didn't repeat because I was worried about storage life.
