Leica LTM Using a 3.5cm Summaron on my IIIg

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
unnamed by , on Flickrhoto showing size of SBLOO on LTM leica

The SBLOO looks more proportionally balanced on the M3 but does not take the cake for large 35mm viewfinders.

Topcor had a ridiculously large VF for their LTM 35mm f2.8 Topcor lens. (not too common of a lens but a very fine preforming lens BTW)

Thank you :)
It keeps me occupied, if that's what you mean :)
Photography has become a passion of mine over the past 10 years, and is a creative outlet and a way for me to focus my energy on something other than my condition.

your photography, inner strength and life philosophy is very inspiring

I am not sure what exactly is a brightline finder. The Kobalux 28mm finder is a bright finder :)

Stephen's site says this: "Also included is the excellent but large Kobalux 28 bright line finder. "

I have this Kobalux brightline finder too, not in black, but in chrome, but honestly, Raid, the Leitz SLOOZ is waaaaay better. The Kobalux 28mm finder has no brightlines.

Erik.

I have the original Leitz 35mm brightline finder in the box, never used. It came to me with the M3. Lots of shiny accessories and wrapping paper.
It looks too pretty to be used, Erik. It looks like this one:

Very beautiful, Raid, but you don't believe that I have this one in black paint still in the box. I have it, really.

Erik.

Here it is:

With bubbling paint and all.

(I think that the blue sticker on the box means that it is a black paint product and not a chrome one.)

Erik.

Hey guys, you are dangerous !
robert
PS: I do not need a new camera, I do not need a new camera with a beautiful VF like the ones Erik and Raid have, I do not need a..., I do not need... :)

The 35mm Voigtlander metal finder for comparison. $209 USD from Cameraquest. I see what you mean...the SBLOO has become very pricey, got mine a long time ago. I had two of the mini finders & they did not match the others for quick ease of use, especially with glasses. I use my SBLOO on my M4 a lot for quick shooting with hyperfocal distance & Tri-X

Resistance is futile, Robert. You must give up! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I have the plastic Leica 35mm viewfinder. It sits nicely on a screw mount Leica, I think. The thing I really like about it is that I can use it with my glasses on.
