Using a flash with a 21mm viewfinder on Leica M4-P

Are you totally unfamiliar with the use of hyperbole to make a joke?

The photo was used to illustrate the look of a Metz 45 CL-4 with a wide-angle lens; the quip about discreetness was obviously (or not, for you) a joke (the CL-4 is a bloody great lump of a flash); and the comment about Gilden was a direct response to Ko.Fe. and his reference to sticking a wide-angle lens and flash up strangers' noses.

He is not wimp or whatever labels are put on him.
I watched videos with him. He is not always aggressively flashing it to the face.
I would not mind if someone would chooses me for it. But it will leave my eyes in trouble for longer than usual time. I have eye doctor telling me what I’m not simulating it.
Next time you’ll see people with sunglasses on then many are without them, they could be like me.
