In another thread, kshapero mentioned using the 28mm framelines and the ZI viewfinder to approximate the coverage of the ZM25 lens, claiming success even with eyeglasses on. (If that's possible, my urge to buy a ZI just went up another notch! 😀)

I'm not disputing the claim, but the ability to do such things can depend on the person's glasses, peripheral vision, etc.

So, how many other ZI users --- especially those who wear glasses --- can use the whole ZI viewfinder to approximate the 25mm fov?

Back to me, my glasses are progressive trifocals and I am having no problem with the view in the VF using the ZI. I moved up from a Bess R3x and I can frame for a 25mm on the ZI better than I could frame on the R3x with a 40mm.

i do both, i use the zeiss finder which is incredible and i use the camera's finder.
when using the 28 frame lines as a guide i found that the fov with the 25 is slightly wider on the sides but more so on the top and bottom of the finder. once you get used to that it's easy to use the whole finder.
