using a zorki 3

hi all

did a search but nothing specific came up. I have a few specific questions, the rest i found on fedkas site.

1: zorki 3s load like a barnack leica right?
2: whats the lever under the rewind knob for?
3: does the ring under the shutter release do anything? it has a a black marking on it and it turns with film advance.

do you mean 3C?

1. not really.
2. diopter adjustment
3. thats the rewind release. push down and turn left before rewinding. turn right after loading film.

well the functions are the same, so it doesnt matter.

Hey mac ~ I might add that the back comes off the Zorki.3 for easy access when loading/unloading. Also, the diopter adj. works well [on mine] and comes in quite handy if you wear eyeglasses, which I do. I don't shoot my Zorki.3 alot, but enjoy it when I do. If life crashes and I have to start selling off cameras tomorrow, it'll be one of the last to go.
