I was very interested in this, and it is now finally available.
Scan your film with your phone! The purpose (for me) is to preview images, but it can be used to post to the web etc.
I just tried it with Fuji C200, and did nothing here in adjusting colours etc. This is how it came out on the auto setting. Gotta say, I'm impressed with the colour profiling!
Anyway, a useful tool for only $5.99. Recommended. Nice work Abe!

Would be cool if one had a simple stand/ holder for your phone. I wonder how it would work with Lomo's Smartphone Film Photo Scanner?

I bought this, downloaded it and found that the app would not open. I deleted the app and re-downloaded--same thing. Caveat emptor!
Update: Tried deleting the app, shutting iPhone down completely, re-starting the iPhone and re-downloading the app. It opened now.. Just need to dig out my light table and some negs now to see how well it works.

Perhaps you should change your heading to "Works!"
The one issue I have with it is you cannot batch process. You have to edit/process and save each capture individually. You cannot make a bunch of captures and then do it.

do you have to take a photo, or can you just look at a video feed? i got a tamron fotovix to do that, and i wouldn't mind the extra space.

You can just look at it real time, w/o capturing (taking a photo) of it.

cool! looks like it could be a good proofing tool.
can you adjust the image settings of the live view and save it?

I don't think so (but I just started using it). It looks like you can only edit after the capture.

That sounds interesting, so in theory, with the film strips on a light table I could just take my iPhone and without pushing any button go over all frames to see the content as a positive?
Edit: Downloaded the app, works. Thanks for the tip Huss.
Any recommendations for a light table which can handle 6 strips at once w/o messing around with exact adjustment of the strips?
