UV filters and the M9

Are UV filters advisable for an M9 with a newer version 50mm 'Cron? Always used them in the film world.

I always use them at least for front element protection. I don't really notice a difference since everything I do is processed from RAW files. Whether it is entirely "advisable" or not, is up to you.

Presently I have a B+W Clear filter on my 'Cron simply for protection.

The camera still has some residual IR sensitivity; I use IR/UV filters if I want to use a filter at all. You’re in Florida. IR content of the light can be high there.
