Hi all, I apologies if this has been asked and answered.

I'm using an Epson V550 with Epson Scan to go through a bunch of 35mm negs.

I've noticed that in 'Professional Mode' it's cropping each frame to 22mm wide or thereabouts, which means I'm losing the edges of each photo.

Is there any way to work around this besides manually cropping each image? Ie. can you manually set the width for the whole batch?

Cheers, Nick

Nick, I use Epson Scan with my V700 and as I recall there is an option to adjust the size of the preview window under the Configuration menu. I have set mine to the largest available available size and this should crop the thumbnails larger.
Cheers

Hi Brett, if we're talking about the same thing you can only set medium format sizes in the Configuration menu.

**edit** Ah I geddit, I was looking at 'Film Size' under the Config menu. I tried the preview window and the medium size seems to do the trick. Thanks a million!

I know that menu, that's for medium format as you say, Eg. 645 v 6x6 etc. I'm referring to what I think is called the Thumbnail Cropping slider, which is what you might want to adjust.

No worries. If you're ever near New Norfolk, feel free to get in touch, Nick.
