Guess where I went shopping today. I think everyone sends their old RF's to the store I like to visit. Today's trip yielded 1: Minolta-P 2: Minolta Hi-Matic F 3: Voigtlander VF 35 F . The Minoltas I know but the Voigtlander is a new model on me, and yes it is a rangefinder, even has a meter in the viewfinder.

That Vgt looks interesing. I wonder if they licensed it out to some other company like Vivitar. I looks very aerodynamic though.

I haven't yet found a nice rangefinder from Value Villiage. There was a nice FED, though, some time back---the one on Victoria Drive and 48th. I'm watching for a Leica M4-P silver body. 😉

I'd call you a crackhead, but I'm hoping for a Contax II or IIa to show up at my local flea market, so I guess I'm a crackhead, too. 😉

The Voigtlander VF135 is an exact clone of the Rollei 35XF. They are quite compact with a round RF patch and fully auto exposure/electronic shutter. The lens is nice.

Karen Nakamura has some info:
