Oh boy, out of 52, one could perhaps save 2 or 3. Even Salgado's photos are not from among his best.

I like celebrity portraiture but this isn't very good in spite of all the good reputations. I think the publicists and committees won. The homages to Penn and Avedon are telling of how constipated they are.

I do like the smaller collages of genuine spontaneity, plus Roversi, Testino, and Norman Jean Roy rose above with simple but excellent images.
