Most of the time my GSN 'clunks' as it should when winding on - about 20° into the wind.
However it has now developed an intermitant trait where it will not clunk on the wind but at the point just after releasing the shutter as the shutter button comes back up.
Exposures are all perfect.
Any ideas?
Regards
Peter

Sounds to me like your pad is starting to get sticky - I had one that did the same thing.
The one other thing to check is inside the base plate - make sure that the screw holding the ratchet on the winder shaft is tight, and that the ratchet is in the correct place - I have seen them move out of register, but it is rare.

Thank you for your help.
I thought it may be the POD but the clunk on release confused me a little.
Of all the Electros I have owned I have never had a POD fail.

Peter
