VC 2 meter on FED 2 ...options?

Hi guys - the Voigländer VC 2 meter doesn´t fit the FED2. The FED is the older model with the deeper/recessed shoe mount. I would need a "raiser" or some thingy that lets me mount the meter. Anyone have a useful tip or a link to some solution? I doubt that the VC double accessory shoe adapter will fit, and it´s also discontinued, IIRC...

I ended up sticking the meter around my neck.

I had considered buying a hotshoe sync socket adapter which would have raised it enough to fit - but it looked ugly and I didn't think the few quid it cost was worth it.

Mine did not, but it works very well with the VC double accessory C model. And sadly this model is discontinued (i think the B model will not fit).

You would have thought that the USSR designers would have thought of that !
The only neat way is a machined block under the shoe - costing much more than the camera , naturally !
