No- the back-focus is 20mm off. It will focus on extreme close-ups only.
Okay- it is "possible", but you have to add a large negative element in front of the lens and use a Nikon L-F adapter. I did this once with a Leica lens "just to do it". Completely impractical.
I'm thinking of a D7000 with the AF-S NIKKOR 24mm f/1.4G ED (which would equal more or less a 36mm). Did you consider this option ? Just curious to know if I'm the only one thinking about it...
