My wife got me a TrekPak divider system for one of my Lightware MF 2012 cases. This system can be used for probably any case and is much more configurable than the standard velcro-type dividers which come with most cases. The dividers also do not out-gas so optics stay clean. Great system for protecting my hard-working Leica gear. I now need to order another for my larger Lightware case (which holds DSLR gear). The 2012 case is great for air-travel but TrekPak also sells pre-configured Pellican cases as well as a great Deuter backpack reconfigured for photo gear.

Note the Apecases on the upper left, these are great for rangefinder sized lenses and the front pouch hold the viewfinders (ApeCase 1650).
Happy New Year to all!

Ape Case Correction for RF lenses

Ape Case Correction for RF lenses

The Ape cases I mentioned are the AC160 and 165 which I find are perfect for rangefinder lenses. These are mareketed for point and shoot digital cameras but they work for 35-60-75mm lenses. I don't know if an F1 50mm would fit, but my Zeiss planar and Sonnar 50's fit in the AC165 case with their hoods attached. A front pocket holds the viewfinders for the wider lenses, as well as a filter.
Hope that's clear.
