I've ordered CV gear from CameraQuest and B&H Photo - was pretty happy with both. I'd think the local guy, Gandy, would be your best bet.

I've gotten tons of stuff from Stephen (three bodies, two winders, four lenses), sent a S2 for CLA to him (directly from the seller on ebay), sent a lens in for warrantee work. I was thinking of stepping up to a ZI, but now that he can not get them any more, no way.
I have purchased from PhotoVillage several years ago (my first Bessa, a T) and was very happy with Rich. I just moved to Stephen to support his support of the user group CVUG and list (go to www.cameraquest.com to find it).
Being a CA resident you will have to pay tax, unless you can find someone to act as a transshipper outside of CA, friends and family work well.
Stephen is a straight shooter who I would trust. In over 30 years of buying photo stuff in Rochester, New York City and Chicago I have work with two other people in sales that I would trust the same way, Ernie at LeBeau (in Rochester), Jim (Mr, Leica) at Ken Hansen Photographic in NYC.
