Vertical Alignment GF670

Hello,

does anybody know how to / where to adjust the vertical alignment of a GF670? It is quite off unfortunately to a margin that complex structures are difficult to align. Vertical lines are of course no problem, if they are long enough 😎. I would prefer doing it by myself, if at all possible. Any pointers greatly appreciated.

Same as the Epson RD-1.

Thanks - it gives me at least an idea how to remove the hot shoe. Will try it over the weekend if I find some spare time.

Actually it is NOT 100% the same like the Epson. I managed to pop by a local camera repair shop and we gave it a try. There is a larger slot screw visible after removing the shoe. If you open it, you can then push down the arm under the screw to move the RF patch. That it seems is the difference to the Epson thing. Now the RF is aligned. Let's see if it also is adjusted ...

Now one more question: We weren't able to find out how to remove the top deck - left part was no problem, also not the screws of course, but how do one remove the right advance screw?

There is a disk around the trigger, which we tried turning with some rubber, but it did not work.

Hey guys, just got my GF670, and I immediately noticed that the rangefinder's vertical alignment is off. I understand that the alignment screws are underneath the hot shoe, but I haven't been able to find any information on removing the shoe. How can this be done? Any links or direct information would be much appreciated! I really don't want to have to send the camera off to Fuji immediately if this is a quick fix.

Actually, if you have the option to send it to Fuji, I'd do it. I know it is frustrating at first, but there is hope you get it back well aligned. And you don't void the warranty (if there is any, of course).

well i thought of that, and since i feel relatively competent in minor camera adjustments i decided to give it a try. five minutes later and it's better than new!
