Hi Guys !

I love my bessa R2A, unfortunatly the alingment is off on the vertzical axis. Can this be fixed by myself or do i have to get a repairshop to do this ? Does this ahppen often with bessas ? I shot about 10 rolls.... makes me wonder...

happened with my R3a as well. it's not extremely strong and does not affect focusing accuracy, so I got used to it. according to the mantra "it's not a bug, but a feature" in some situations I even like having two edges minimally side-by-side. I saw another R3a though where the misalignment is stronger, and that really would have bummed me out. so it's a matter of severity... I'd recommend trying to get used to and if you can't either a) have it fixed by voigtländer (allegedly they do this for free incl. shipping for three years after the initial purchase) or b) fix it yourself. the instructions seem fine.

best,

max
