I was testing a Yashica Elecro GSN and a Konica C 35; I shot several frames with the Yashica, rewinded the film, loaded it int the Konica, shot some blank frames and then I used the camera as usual until the complete film was exposed . Film was Eastman Double X, hand-spooled exposed at ISO 400 and developed in paRodinal. Some vertical lightleaks showed in most of the frames (from both cameras) but not in all of them. Photos here

Could this be due to a problem with the cannister or with the spooling of the film ?? Or are there other possible explanations ??
Thank you in advance for your opinions

it´s imposible to tell since you used two cameras!

There are many possible reasons for this, i think you´ll have to focus in one camera at a time and only then get into develiping problems.

good luck

Yep, the two camera thing throws everything off, but it's unlikely that two different cameras would have the same light leaks. So it's probably a loading issue. Nowadays, if I need to test two cameras, I shoot 16 images or so of a 36 exp roll, put the camera in a change bag and open it, unroll the exposed part, cut it, and load it into a developing tank that's already in the bag. Then I shoot the remainder of the roll in the second camera. Works fine. That's plenty of exposures to test a camera or lens.
