I don't know if these have been posted here, but I just saw these on YouTube and had to share them. I think the camera industry needs more ads like these, especially the 'Milky Black' Fuji X10 and the 'stray dog' X100 ads.

From Thailand:

From Japan:

with subtitles:

And a couple of tangential ones. Fujifilm cosmetics!

And definitely not safe for work: Fuji X100 commercial with naked women and tattooed men.

These ads are good because it challenges what most non-photographer think can be done with a camera. And it portrays photographers in their strongest suit: As a keen observer.

To me it's sad that they make such nice ads for digital cameras but actually the GF670 is the true unique product out there in the market and not many people know about it.

Just about broke my keyboard trying to exit out of the last one ... my son is working on the laptop next to me and looked over to try and figure out the foreign language. I should really pay attention to NSFW.

Definitely not safe for work! Hahaha!

I just found the Making Of video for the X100 ad!

And in a video that is peculiarly reminiscent of wartime propaganda, here is a video about how the earthquake in Japan disrupted the production of the X100, and how the workers banded together to recreate the production line elsewhere.

Its tone reminds me of the 'enlist now!' segments of the movie Starship Troopers.
