I'm looking for some info about canon P models, expecially for one that was built for army force. Peter decter wrote that one modle (with cherry on top) was built. Did someone ever seen this one? there are some photos on web?

Can't be of much help on the current question, but there is at least one military Canon. There were L2's built for the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force. They have an anchor engraved on the top plate, and are quite rare. There was one auctioned off in Germany twice in the past several years. There was an apparent purchase, and the same camera was offered the following auction. It was sold for a couple hundred more Euros in that sale.
There are also Model 7's with an eagle engraving that were sold only to employees. Again, a very rare item, and one was sold in the same circumstances as the L2.
If you see something, and it looks legitimate, and it's priced low... decide if the gamble is worth it to you. Hope you are on the track of something, and let us know if successful.
