Young Luddite
I had the pleasure of inheriting my grandfather's Leica M3 and I recognized much of everything, except one lens. It says it's a Victar Ludwig-Dresden 7.5cm f/3.5. It's a very short lens as well, shorter than any 75mm I've seen. It is not rangefinder coupled nor does it seem to fit a LTM.
His other lenses were mainly LTM so I decided to post in this forum. Any ideas?

If it hadn't got a focussing scale I would have sid it was an enlarging lens. Being so shallow implies a deeper camera, maybe 21/4 sq?

Perhaps it's an M42 SLR lens.

Whatever
Could be for a Reflex Korelle or a Pilot Super, both 1930's 6x6 SLR's. Ludwig Victars were low end lenses at the time and made lenses for Exakta, among others.

I also thought it could be for Reflex Korrelle so I just checked mine. It has a 8cm Tessar, the threads are 1.611 (40.92 mm) on the outside diameter and it is 34 threads per inch. Joe
