Video: born into brothels

Wanted to share a video I discovered. It's about children born in a brothel in Calcutta. A female photographer teaches them photography and tries to find a school for them.

Great photos inside and I was absolutely touched by the film. 1,5 hours long.

I saw this couple of months ago at a private screening. Very moving film, can highly recommend.

We were required to watch this in one of my classes at school. It should be required viewing for photographers interested in photojournalism and/or documentary.

btw, the kid that gets sent to the international photo summit is currently studying in the US (Chicago Univ I think). There is a follow-up story about the characters in the movie site.
