Vietnam and a Kowa 6

Another shameless take off from "Trungs" Hanoi series 🙂. The first pic is from the seat in a gondola that goes over 5 kilometers up , plus it's a good drop to the earth below ! Takes over 25 minutes . You then arrive at the entrance , an old French church , enormous and completely beyond me how it was built up there.

This was early before the crowds had arrived , you want to get there as early as possible.It's called the Golden Bridge at the Ba Na Hills and is less than an hour out of DaNang. Peter

Don't know how I had double posted the above pictures, maybe delayed jet lag ?
The Kowa worked fine the entire trip , but it was a source of entertainment for everyone on the cell phones ! And holy crap was it hot and humid in the cities we visited , 39 degrees Celsius , feels like 49 degrees on the weather network app . Sure drank a lot of beer 🙂 . Peter

And yet—don’t I remember you ruminating about carrying a *lighter* camera on this trip? (I’m speaking as a Super 66 owner here. )

....Maybe I’m mixing up my Kowas. Maybe I’m mixing up my memory of travel threads and who was seeking feedback about which camera to take as part of a light traveling setup....

^ You couldn't be more right . Just can't help myself . I also own a couple of Super 66's so it's lighter than they are 🙂. I also brought my Welta Weltur , which I used frequently (definitely capable and lighter) + my great Minolta Hi-Matic E , the last 2 are all I should really ever bring . But I did bring the Kowa Super 66 with an extra back and 3 lenses on my motorcycle trip to Randle ,Washington last week , everything else went in the other saddlebag . Peter

it's funny that I've never been to Ba Na hills before.
I wish that I could have visited it before they built giant amusement park there.
This owner, Sun group, also built cable car to top of Phansipan in Lao Cai, highest summit in Indo China.
