Wow I just returned from Vietnam and Cambodia. some of your shots looked as though they were in Sapa??
I took about 1300 shots and loved the local people.

Great photos. I really enjoyed them. I didn't remember the three person rule. Either I had just forgotten that (very possible), or it didn't apply in the southern highlands or DMZ areas, where I spent most of my time. Cam on cho chung toi thay cai hinh nay.

Some fantastic expressions captured, there. Nice work.
I spent 3 weeks there in 2007, travelling from south to north, and then back down again....I did not have a camera the whole time, which was really liberating! I deliberately decided to travel camera-less, and it makes you experience the place in a different light.... I would never do it again (ha ha) /
The cheeky kids really stand out in my memory.... that and the traffic...riding through the country side outside of Hoi An, on a rented scooter, was some of the most fun I have had for a long time....

The 3 person thing is not that common actually. Mostly apply to notherner. And that's some really good Vietnamese there 😉

I'm an expatriate living in Abu Dhabi and always look toward travelling home or England (where I spent many years of my life) to take photo.

It's rather sad to say that I have no connection with Abu Dhabi, everytime I picked up my camera for a shooting night out, I often came home empty handed.

I think it's really important to be connected, otherwise I just cannot take any photo at all 🙂

Today is Chinese New Year, another shooting opportunity lost 😛
