viewfinder difference between G1 and G2

Is there a substantial difference between the viewfinders of the G1 and the G2.

I read messages that claim the G2 viewfinder is much larger and better than the G1, while other have written that they could not discern a difference.

If you have both cameras on hand, what's your experience?

PS- I'm well aware of all the other differences between the two cameras, I'm only interested in the viewfinder

I use both side by side and find no big diffrence, but prefere the Sonnar on my G2 and the Biogon on the G1. Most sits in my experience on how you see the motives you like to photograph. The tool is just a tool.

If I recall correctly (sold my kit some time ago) all four sides of the G2 viewfinder move to correct for parallax, while only the left and upper sides move on the G1. Consequently, the G1 viewfinder gets smaller as you focus closer.
