hi
window shopping as i always am, i'm looking for images of viewfinder displays of various cameras, such as this. only, contrary to the easily find_able bessa and leica images, i'm having trouble locating such images or illustrations for the zi, hexar rf and cle. what i need to know is what info is displayed in the vf, what framelines available and so on..
if anyone knows where to look (i'm sure google does, but then i'd have to blame me for not knowing how to tell google what to look for), i'd appreciate it greatly...

How did you find this one? I have been looking for the image of the R-D1 before I got mine but couldn't find one anywhere. Not even in the manual afaik.
"How did you find this one?"
coming to think of it, i can't remember.. on stephen's r2m page i suppose

This is the ZI of course, but frameline diagrams won't tell you much...Just pick one up and look through it...
My first time was quite...enlightening. It was like opening the shades in the morning (Before it I had only squinted thru a myriad of compact RF, a friend's R3A and my beloved Mamiya6. I had a chance to look through an M6 later and it left me cold.)
ZI viewfinder is good stuff, I wear glasses and I'm happy. The only problem is the position of the shutter speed indicators. Way too far to the left, I don't see them most of the time, and I rarely try to. Only if I'm unsure.
Hope it helps.
