Title says it all. Does anyone have viewfinder suggsetions for a IIIc based on personal experience?

All the Voigtlander viewfinders are excellent. On the IIIc I've used their 25, 28, 35, 50, and 75 viewfinders.

I recommend the Leitz viewfinders. I use the 35mm and 50mm and they are very good and fun to use. They seem to go for around $100 the last time I checked.

I can second the choice of a CV brightline as being the most cost effective.
A TEWE 35-200 is a good choice and CV is about to release their own multi-finder.

The VIOOH is an interesting mixed bag. It handles all the focal lengths, is very accurate, and has a completely sharp frame edge, unlike the internal finder. But, the image is rather small at 90mm, and very small at 135mm. It's physically large. It's not bright line. If you buy it at a real auction, it's not that expensive.
The CV 28/35 is very small, and very usable.

I've used this VF on a IIIc and second John's comment. An excellent little finder if you use either/both of those focal lengths. The CV 28/35 is very small, and very usable.

Another vote for the SBOOI! There's one in my avatar, mounted on a IIIf.

The IIIc is such a nice small package, why the finder for a 50?
The metal CV Brightlines (28 or 35) are the best made in their focal lengths. I've seen the CV 28/35 and LOVE the size and finish, looks great on an old Leica. My metal 28 and 35 have spoiled me. Tewe and Nikon made some great zoom finders, several others are out there but I do not remember their names at present.
The plastic CV bright line finders are also very good. Well worth the money, I had one on a Bessa L that was my take everywhere camera for years.
I used a Bessa T for years and went through dozens of finders and came to the conclusion that the only finders I really liked were bright lines. The zoom finders are just too big to feel right, the III is just such a nice small comfortable camera.

My experience with a VIOOH on a IIIc was excellent. Had I used only a 50mm, I'd have opted for a SBOOI or its CV equivalent.

"why the finder for a 50"
One reason is because the built in finder is squinty at best and nearly useless with glasses.
And the SBOOI is wonderful with glasses, no glasses, 1:1, both eyes open! I'm sure the Voight 50 finder is also great but I found my Leitz for about half the price (in user condition, of course). It looks really nice on my IIIa...
