Sorry to pile on yet more bugs/feedback/complaints on top of everything else you guys are dealing with - I actually quite like the new RFF and can already tell that this was a good move in the long term. Hopefully the grumbling can subside soon enough, but I do have one or two suggestions regarding general usability.

On the "old" RFF, I'd click one link in the top right on the front page and get a long list of all new posts since my last visit. That was the first thing I'd do every time I loaded the site.

On the new version, the equivalent link is buried at least one click deep as "New topics" on the submenu while in the forums section. I'm not sure how many members have similar behaviour to me, but personally, I'd make that a bit easier to get to (maybe by changing the submenus to hover-over drop-downs under the main navigation, if vBulletin allows it - or, if not, putting it right on the top bar next to Notifications).

The bigger problem for me is that the New Topics search doesn't hide old content I ignored on previous visits like the equivalent on the old site did. It took me a couple of days before I realised that I was searching through old posts I'd already dismissed. The "Mark Channels Read" button at the very bottom of the main forum page solves that issue, but it's pretty well-hidden right now. I think I generally prefer the behaviour of the New Topics function on the current RFF over the old one (it means there's not as much pressure to read/open every topic I may be interested in during each visit), but some way of marking topics as read/to be ignored without actually opening them or heading back to the main forum page to dismiss them all in one fell swoop might be an idea.
