Vince, are you sure that "$29.95" was shot in Oklahoma? I don't see any bullet holes in the sign...

Go with it! Sometimes the work leads you down paths you don't expect. But you know that!

Thank you for sharing your photos, Vince.
The last one, 'Sunday Morning Harrold Texas', makes me think - "there were the electrical/telephone poles and wires, then the satellite dishes and the cellular masts, now windfarms that pop up here and there in the landscape"; some sort of chronological markers of eras.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I’m looking at that first shot wondering if it would be stronger if I cropped it in. Might have a look at that.Leroy looks like the sort of fellow who has lots of stories to tell!

I think not. His big barrel chest and his Wrangler shirt speak volumes about who he is. Not to mention the rodeo buckle! There's a great dynamism to the unbalanced composition, as well. I'd say, trust your instincts that led you to make the photo as it is.I’m looking at that first shot wondering if it would be stronger if I cropped it in. Might have a look at that.
I love how you've captured the individuality of Leroy, as well as the certain "type" that he is. As you know, these old ranchers in this part of the country are wise, ornery, and great folks to have in your corner when the going gets a bit tough.
