Virus warning - "FEDEX" email

Another virus distribution scam - I almost got caught by this one as I was expecting a parcel. AVG didn't detect it.

If you get an email with the following text, don't click the link. Just delete it.



Dear Customer,

Your parcel has arrived at the post office at November 26. Our postrider was unable to deliver the parcel to you.

To receive a parcel, please, go to the nearest our office and show this postal receipt.


GET POSTAL RECEIPT (link disabled)

The poor grammar and syntax must have been a good tipoff. "postrider?" "To receive a parcel" rather than "to receive your parcel" sticks out like a sore thumb. Besides, Fedex packages don't arrive at post offices.

You got to be on your toes, these days!
