Russ,
Well thought out review. Pretty soon you'll be a PJ, not just a world-class photog. Keep up the great work.
I should have sent my Olympus SP to your bud Dave, I haven't heard from Paul about it this month.

Welcome to the group. How do you like your Revue 400 SE? I find it to have one of the best lenses out there. A true, unsung hero amongst the ramgefinder's. Though I think the word is "getting out" in terms of how nice that camera is.

Dear friends, thanks to all for your welcome!
In many years, I have not found a single lack in my Revue 400SE: I call it "my little Leica".
It has many positive qualities. Lenses are fantastic, the central shutter allows to work easy with flash. (I always use my 400SE with a Metz 20BC6, plus a small equipment of filters for B/W film). Since 1980 i'm dreaming about a medium-format rangefinder camera. But nothing will never separate me from my 400SE! (Sorry for bad english...)

Welcome Giovanni! A small camera can be very useful, but a medium-format rangefinder is wonderful! And prices now for medium-format gear are ridiculously low. A good time for shopping!

Doug, good suggestion!
In a different topic of this forum I have found one Fuji GS645 for sale... (but i should ask for pricing here in Italy).
By the way, i love folding cameras.. i owned an old Seagull 203 when i was young: a very useful and cheap camera. But it was really too old...

Welcome Garibaldi !!! And btw, they are never too old
A medium format folding camera may be a great choice, but they always have some things to check thoroughly, like bellows and front panel condition, however, but searching is part of the fun as well
