Hello,
does anybody know which type of aspherical lens elements Cosina uses in the Voigtländer lens series? Hybrid, moulded glass or ground glass?
Thanks.

Tom Abrahamsson has close contacts to the factory. Maybe he knows the answer on this interesting question.

I think ground glass. I just watched a video on YouTube called "the making of cosina" (I think that's the title), and they show a lot of the fabrication process. It was very interesting and impressive!

Roger checked at the last Photokina: molded glass (http://www.rangefinderforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=124093).
On the LUF, people report "Onion bokeh" with the new Nokton (very, very subtle rings in strong out of focus highlights) which confirms this.
At least the 12mm has an outside aspheric surface, so hybrid/resin is out of the question.
