Voigtländer Ultron 27mm f2 (X-mount) lens - Images

@Yokosuka Mike I really appreciate your numerous photo examples of lenses and cameras here, thank you!

Since you have posted photos from this lens and from Fuji 23mm f/1.4, I was curious how you feel about the difference in images they make—aside from the obvious 4mm difference in field of view and the lightweight pancake format of this lens.

I’ve been quite intrigued by the positive reviews and images from this lens, but I already have the original version of Fuji 23mm f/1.4 (and two 35mm prime options: Mitakon Speedmaster II F0.95 and Voigtlander APO-Ultron Macro F2.) Do you think they are sufficiently different to warrant having both? Do you have a preference in how each one “renders” the images? Thank you again!

Hello Glimmers, I don't think there's much of a comparison between the Voigtländer Ultron 27mm f2 (X-mount) lens and either of the Fujinon XF 23mm f1.4 lenses (old and new version). At least there's not much of a comparison to me. I use the 27mm Ultron when I'm in the mood to shoot with a manual lens and the Fujinon 23mm f1.4 when I'm in the mood to shoot with a lens capable of auto-focus. I'm not a very technical guy, I just grab the lens that strikes my fancy and I go out and take pictures. Both lenses are capable of producing pleasing images, both lenses are fun to use. If you can afford the Voigtländer Ultron 27mm f2 (X-mount) lens I say go for it! It's a sweet little lens. Here's a picture I took just a few days ago with mine:
