Another issue is, that, on many M adapters, the lens is not aligned well at the 12 o'clock position (something which can be repaired, afaik, RFF member Ferider has posted a tutorial for that)
Easy fix. Unscrew and carefully remove the lensmount, and you'll see there are three closely-spaced holes underneath at each point where the screw was. Realign lensmount to holes that will let the ears of the hood sit correctly, and screw back in.

Thank you for correcting me. I'm forever in your debt.
That's rude.

Depending on the tone in which you read it, perhaps?

Monz, I like "circles and curves" and "the rat race" best - interesting shots from you as usual!
I haven't seen alot of COLOR work from this lens, and have only used it for B&W myself...
Thanks Yaron. Now that you mention colour, I can remember shooting just one colour E6 film with this lens... results were pretty good.

If you put the the 15 on a tripod and carefully align the edges so they are straight verticals - you be surprised how little distorsion it has. It is an amazing little lens - particularly if you take into context what the price is!
I have had this lens for 10 years - got it when it was announced in Tokyo in 1999, together with the Bessa L. Quite a sensation at the time - and still one of my favorite ultra wides. The 12f5.6 is more of a speciality lens, while the 15 can be used as an everyday, carry along just in case lens.
Bought mine at the same time after reading Dr Bells test of it in the Amateur Photographer, he described it as a "jewel" of a lens. Still my fav.
P.S. NOTE to Cosina, leave this one well alone, you got it absolutely right first time. DONT FIX WHAT AINT BROKE!!

I haven't shot much color film since I mostly use B&W, but here's a couple:
Fuji Sensia 400, which shows the falloff at the corners due to having less latitude:

it looks like you were shooting into the light judging by the sky, but your shadow shows it was behind you.

Here's some stuff I've done in color with the CV 15mm...

Probably one of the first shots I took with my 15mm
I must re-scan it and tidy it up a bit.!!
The quality of this lens, encouraged me to buy six other CV lenses a Bessa T and Bessa R2.

If someone is interested: Ken Rockwell testet the Voigtländer 21mm now, too:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/voigtlander/21mm.htm
... and maybe just for fun his ideas on using ultra-wide lenses:
http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/how-to-use-ultra-wide-lenses.htm
That's really strange. Surely Rockwell has some good ideas on photography on the technical side, but asthetically those hints seem to be complete nonsense (at least to me).
