I figure this lens deserves a thread of its own (no need to compare it to it's younger sibling - they are different beasts). It's rad! The image quality is classic/modern Voigtlander - sharp enough wide open, medium contrast, smooooth bokeh (it seems the fingerprint of many their early lenses is really consistent - this lens, the first 35mm f/1.7 ultron, the first 50mm Nokton).
