I live in Amsterdam. It's NOT a place for rangefinder shopping. I buy all my gear on interwebs or fleamarkets when I travel.
But if you're PRESSED to get something in Amsterdam go to Haarlemmerstraat. There are two shops there, one at the end (towards Haarlemerplein), don't remember what it's called, but it's got a big Leica sign hanging out. Another one sells lots of second-hand gear, including RF, but I always discourage people from going there just because the owner is the biggest oppinionated arogant pr..k. Not just my oppinion, pretty much everyone that's been there swears not to go there again. But he's got some nice gear in the window. It's close to Greenhouse coffeeshop (not the one where you buy coffee 🙂 ) Not cheap.
Then there's a shop near Leidseplein, main street after Spiegelgracht that sells (very expensive) selected rangefinder gear. Absolutely not worth the visit unless you want to do a couple of minutes windowshopping.
But yeah, why would you buy in bricknmortar shops for extortionate prices when you've got all you need on the internets? Amsterdam RF shopping - just forget about it.
