Hey guys, some time ago someone posted a diagram of the Voigtlander 35mm 1.7 (ltm) diagram to compare with the new M mount version, I can't seems to find it anywhere anymore, and I can't find any reference to the old LTM version on Voigtlander site as well.

Anyway, I hope the diagram would help me understand does it worth while to take out the lens element for cleaning as it seems to be a bit foggy while shine through white light.

If anyone who disassembled or clean its glass before drop me some hint? I know the name ring can be unscrew, what then? does the front group also unscrew as single unit or it can be separate for cleaning purposes?

many thanks!

Yes, that was me! I never took the lens apart. Maybe you'll find someting useful here: Repair Forum

I recall condensation will settle on the surfaces between the front group and the one behind it on the LTM 35mm f/1.7 Ultron. Unscrewing the front group as a whole will let you clean off the haze/condensation without a problem. No need to remove the individual elements.

I don't remember exactly if the aperture ring needs to come off at all (It had to, last time when I removed the front-end wobble), but if you have to, be careful not to lose the click-stop ball-bearing and spring.

Ahhhh! Thanks for the diagram, also the good hint about the where might the haze be. now I just need to wait until weekend and get myself some uninterrupted time to tackle this slowly :)
